Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Blind

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITHOUT FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION. ***Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com*** IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE AN APPLICATION, WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL. Michael Scott 7 years old, 15 lbs, Bichon/poodle mix. Poor Michael Scott was in a kill shelter in CA and had fallen between the cracks. No one was coming for him, why, we will never know. It could have been that he is completely blind, that he needed a major dental, or that he was a filthy matted mess. Regardless, we were not leaving this sweet little man there. We got Michael Scott to our vets where it was discovered he is completely blind, needed a major ... (Read More)dental, needed to be neutered, and needed to be shaved all the way down due to being so matted to the skin. Of course needed a good wash in the tub. Michael Scott is currently in a loving foster home with another little dog. His foster mum said he is so extremely easy, and so very, very sweet & calm. He should be loved and cherished. He is such an easy guy, doesn't mind being picked up, given love to, really he does just want to be loved. We do not know how he is around cats nor children but believe he would do well with both. He will be neutered, up to date on his shots, is heart worm negative, and will have his major dental complete. He will be ready for his new loving forever home on 4/21/18. It's time for Michael Scott to find his new forever home. He can only go to a home with someone present in the home or another dog for companionship, and someone who will work with him on potty training, and will love and cherish him. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Michael Scott, have read his listing fully to the end, and are willing to go through our process of your references being checked, a phone interview, a home visit, followed with a meet & greet if it's a good fit with our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Michael Scott has an adoption fee of $650. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Personality: Average Energy
Health: Vaccinations Current

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITHOUT FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION. ***Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com*** IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE AN APPLICATION, WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL. Julie long haired dachshund 3 years old. Sweet adorable Julie was in a death camp of a high kill shelter in Korea. With so many of these sweet angels we will never know how they end up there. She was so sick with kennel cough that she was coughing blood. Her fur was so very matted it was pulling at her skin. She needed out immediately to save her life. The wonderful Korean rescue we work with got this sweet baby doll out of the death camp of a shelter and to a ... (Read More)vet where she was treated to get well from the kennel cough. Julie went to a foster home where she was being loved and cherished until she was ready to come back to the US. In her foster home it was quite quickly discovered she loves frozen broccoli, eggs, chicken breast, carrots, and blueberries. She loves to go on walks and is leash trained, good with cats & dogs & respectful children. She loves people. Julie gets very excited when someone pats her and will pee a little so she needs a few minutes to calm down before patting her again. Time and training will resolve this. Julie is totally potty pad trained so she has not yet learned to go outside. Right now she will only go on potty pads. Even after a long walk she still will hold it to go on potty pads. She will need to be taught to go potty outside as well. She loves stuffed toys and the company of other dogs. She also enjoys bully sticks, and even better, gets so excited when she goes in the car with excitement she makes noises. Julie is a low maintenance little soul who just wants to be cuddled, loved, and cherished. We will only be accepting applications who meet all of the requirements for Julie. Julie is currently in a foster home. It's time for Julie to find her new forever home, and she can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home, someone who will work with her on potty training, and training like all of her doggy friends. Someone should be present in the home during the day. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Julie and have read her listing fully to the end. You must be willing to go through our process of your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit, followed with a meet & greet if it's a good fit with our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Julie has an adoption fee of $660 & will be ready to go to her forever on 4/5/18. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. Lois female 2 years old 6.8lbs mix Look at this gorgeous sweet little lady! Lois' story is of such great pain and sadness until now. Lois was in a death camp of a shelter in Korea, and she gave birth to 5 puppies. The Korean Rescue stepped in and got everyone out to save their lives and give them a chance at life. But, 4 of the babies could not be saved & they lost their lives. This is extremely dreadful and the reality here of this situation. It shows the ... (Read More)dedication of the Korean rescue. We are beyond extremely grateful to the Korean Rescue who tirelessly save these precious souls lives such as Mong Mong (who is also looking for his forever home), and his mum Lois. Lois is now a US citizen & looking for her loving forever home, she is 6.8 lbs Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, we believe. She was spayed here by our amazing vet by laser, chipped, fully vaccinated, heart worm negative & dewormed 3 times. This little lady is in a foster home, loves people and other dogs, and can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home with someone home. Once she warms up to you she is one of the sweetest, loving, and calm little ladies you will ever meet. She also likes to play with her baby Mong Mong, and definitely needs a backyard as she enjoys running around the backyard with the freedom. A fenced yard is a must. She will absolutely need work on potty training, as do all of our beautiful rescues, but Lois has been working on going on potty pads and outside in her foster home. Rescue Me ID: 18-03-25-00010Maddie and Kyrie (male)

Cairn Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Male Dogs Only
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Maddie & Kyrie bonded pair Cairn terrier mixes. Maddie 15 lbs & Kyrie 17 lbs. Both 3 years old. Maddie & Kyrie were rescued from a kill shelter in CA. The state they were in was of neglect, fear and sadness. Their owner dropped them off and said he could no longer care for them. We were asked by the shelter to help this bonded pair, and we got them out. They received all the medical care needed, dentals, spayed & neutered, chipped, shots. We bought them back to WA and found them their forever home. Unfortunately it's extremely sad, but after several months in their new home the family's other dog does not want Maddie there at all. We need ... (Read More)to find this bonded pair their new home together once again. Their current family is so deeply saddened as they love Maddie & Kyrie deeply. To need to rehome them is breaking their hearts. Maddie is the alpha, and both she and Kyrie are extremely affectionate and loving; they are both very sweet dogs. They will cuddle with each other but also cuddle on the couch with their mum for hours. They like to go on walks and hikes, so they are both active dogs. They do so well on a leash; their mum walks them in a harness. In their new home they will still of course, like any of our dogs, need work on potty training and house training. They both are crate trained in their current home, and have been sleeping together in a large crate. It would be wonderful if Maddie & Kyrie could find a new home where they were the only 2 dogs in the home as Maddie has the alpha female personality . Another playful male who is not dominant would work also. In their previous foster home Maddie loved to play with her male foster friend. Maddie & Kyrie will not be separated and will ONLY be adopted TOGETHER. Please do not apply for one without the other. Both Maddie & Kyrie are spayed & neutered, up to date on their shots, chipped, had dentals, & heart worm negative. They get along with other dogs, and if the children are respectful to animals they are good also. Their previous foster home had a 6 month old and both did very well with her. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting both Maddie & Kyrie together & you have read their listing fully to the end & going through our process of your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed with a meet & greet if it's a good fit with our discretion. Please also only apply if you are truly committed to Maddie & Kyrie & being their everything as well as committed to working on potty training & training. Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Mix    Age: Adult

YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!*** Lohdi is a sweet fellow looking for a forever home. Lohdi is a 9 year old blonde terrier mix who weighs 40 pounds. If we had to guess, we'd say he is a wheaten terrier mix. Lohdi is a confident friendly guy who gets along great with other dogs. He does fine with easygoing cats once he is reminded to give them space. We haven't had Lohdi around children, but we suspect he would do great with them because of his gentle nature. We found a listing for two sweet pups and reached ... (Read More)out to the owners. Unfortunately the husband had passed away and their owner could no longer care for Lohdi his friend. We agreed take them into our rescue and find them loving homes. We had these two lovebugs picked up and brought to our vets. We soon discovered that both dogs needed medical attention and they desperately needed to be groomed. Lohdi had to have a mass removed. It was biopsied and the results came back benign. Lohdi is very happy-go-lucky and has a heart of gold. He loves to snuggle and really wants to please his humans. He's very content napping on the couch with his humans or finding a warm sunny spot to lay in. Lohdi is most interested in being near his person and is a wonderful loving companion. Lohdi must go to a home with another dog present. He needs to be let outside every 3-4 hours to do his business. He will need house training and obedience training in a new environment like most rescue dogs. This affectionate boy is ready for his happily ever after. Lohdi has an adoption fee of $500. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Maltese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Look at this sweet little lady Zoe, a whole 7 lbs of her, well under the care of the foster mum she is gaining weight. This sweet 4 year old Maltese mix we believe came to us pure skin & bones, scary thin. Your whole hand fit around her tiny frail frame. We were asked to take Zoe into our rescue from a kill shelter in CA, & we know why this little lady was a shelter favorite. We were told that she had a uti or possibly bladder stones but our vet quickly realized after 2 x-rays & medication that this sweet little lady has nerve damage down near her tail & second vertebrae. Our vet also discovered that she only has a nub for a tail. We do not ... (Read More)know if man did this to Zoe or she was born this way? It was also discovered that she has slight symptoms of a luxated patella on her right side but is showing no signs of it. Zoe is a 4 year old female, 7 lbs, up to date on her shots, chipped, spayed, just had a dental & is heart worm negative. This little lady will need a very kind, dedicated special home as she is incontinent & needs to wear a nappy or belly band due to having no control over her bodily functions because of the nerve damage. That being said she runs around & plays with the other dogs & cats & loves people & is being fostered with a family with teenagers who she also adores. Please only apply for Zoe if you are committed to being her forever home with her incontinent issues & not just because you see a very adorable little angel. Zoe is a life long commitment. She must go to a home with other dogs present in the home & with people present in the home. This little lady is full of so much love & joy & was a picky eater when she first joined our rescue but the foster mum has certainly turned that around. Zoe is such a special little lady! Please do not apply just because you see a precious little girl, she truly needs someone who will be fully committed to her and her needs.
